This project provides static builds of FFmpeg, FFprobe and FFplay. It uses the latest snapshot or release of FFmpeg and adds several codes.

Timeline for macOS (Intel) Builds

Apple has announced the discontinuation of Intel macOS, and so will I.

• starting January 2026: no more regular snapshot builds for macOS Intel
• starting January 2027: no more release builds for macOS Intel

Info

• macOS binaries are signed (zip and installer) and notarized (installer)
• not every OS/architecture may contain all codecs (check Formats, Codecs and Versions files)

Each build contains the following codecs and libraries:
